Cycling-rally
Certainly you know what the rally is - the famous Dakar rally for example. While in the Ukraine and Russia thousands of sportsmen-cyclists are keen on sport Cycling-rally. Do you want to find out more or even take part in Cycling-rally? Then have a look at the Cycling-rally page of Dnepropetrovsk cycling society.
Cycling-rally are organised throughout the year around the interesting places of the Ukraine, Crimea, Carpathians, Central Asia and other counties and areas of the world according to the pre-planned route and time constraints. Cycling-rally falls into different difficulty categories based on the distance, road quality and relief.

1st category of difficulty (c.o.d.) - 300-600 km
for 7-14 days -

Rules of Cycling-rally carrying out.
One who would like to take part in Cycling-rally can do that only in cycling-rally of 1st category of difficulty. After passing of cycling trip, in one month you will receive a certificate that confirms your passing of 1st c.o.d. After that you will be able to apply for participation in Cycling-rally of 2nd c.o.d. and so on up to 6th c.o.d.
In Cycling-rally of first c.o.d. any cycler who has an experience of passing 50-60 km per day could take part. Bicycle should be equipped with pannier rack, cycling bag, front and back light, cycling-computer. List of personal equipment for participation at Cycling-rally.
Cycling-rally is very similar to Randonneuring riding. Cycling-rally is a team competition. Group of cyclers usually consists of 4-12 participants. Along the route all members of the group goes together without separation. In case of breakage or other need all participants are getting together and help each other. Cycling-rally of 1-3 c.o.d. are always organised so that there is a time to view historical sights and nature. Like in any other team, there is a leader (or captain) that lead the group along the route, make stops for watching sights, organise camping place. Camp, as a rule, set up on the open air in the tents. Cooking is on the open fire or camping gas stove. It is needed for training skills of moving along the route in autonomous conditions. Autonomous condition of Cycling-rally of 4-6 c.o.d. lasts for 3-6 days in uninhabited mountain area.
In order to take part at cycling-rally it is necessary to apply by email not later than in 30 days before its beginning.
At application you have to indicate your name, date of birth, address, phone numbers, email, place of employment or educational institution where you study.
When your application will be accepted, you will see your name at the list of participants on the page - Cycling-rally participants. After that please indicate the time and place of arriving at the route start point and the leader will meet you.
Start fee for Cycling-rally participation is paid to the leader after arrival to the start point. If participant is leaving Cycling-rally before its finish for some reason, start fee is not refunded.
Only those who participated at Cycling-rally of the 1st c.o.d. can take part at the Cycling-rally of 2nd c.o.d. and so on up to 6th c.o.d.
